Compound was an immersive scare attraction new for the Scarefest 2024.
Based on a military research facility using alien DNA on human subjects.

Sam used Sketchup and Capture Visualiser along with mood boards to showcase ideas and improve the overall planning stages of the scare maze. Working closely with creative teams to make an immersive Lighting and Special effects design that makes the building as realistic as possible. Using construction set elements to hide theatrical lighting along with industrial/realistic lighting fixtures to create the right atmosphere for each space.

Using the door frame to create a gobo effect on the floor and back light the performers behind the doors.

LED Tape used and controlled to show when the cell doors are open and closed.

Pixel tube to give a red liquid flowing effect.
